Serviced Apartments in Almaty

A serviced apartment sits between a hotel room and a rented flat. You get your own kitchen, a separate bedroom (several in the larger flats) and usually a washing machine, while the team takes care of linen, towels and cleaning, which is what sets it apart from a plain furnished apartment.

Almaty is where Brilliant Group runs about ten flats of this kind: some belong to us, the rest we manage under long-term agreements with their owners. We started with small flats and moved to bigger ones as more families came. We prepare each one between guests and stay on call around the clock. Most of our guests are families and groups, around 70% of them from abroad, and many are regulars who come back or recommend us to colleagues. Guests check in on their own with a personal door code, and full instructions arrive on the day of arrival.

Most of our work happens between guests. We set aside three to four hours for each changeover: the bed linen is changed completely, the bathrooms are disinfected, and linen and towels go to a professional laundry. The door code is reset after every guest.

The flat is stocked before you arrive. Towels, slippers, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel and a full set of dishes are included, and every kitchen has an oven, a hob, a microwave, pots and pans, so the first evening does not start with a shopping trip and cooking a proper dinner is easy. On stays of two weeks or longer the team does a full clean once a week, which is the usual rhythm for serviced apartments, rather than a hotel's daily room service. Support works 24/7, and if something critical happens at night, someone from the team comes to the apartment; if a repair is needed, we call in the right specialist.

Compared with a hotel or an aparthotel, Almaty stays with us run without a reception desk, so there is no queue and nobody to meet. We send a personal door code before arrival and it works at any hour, so a late arrival after check-in time needs no one waiting up. Check-in is from 14:00 (15:00 for the largest apartments) and check-out is by 12:00; a late check-out can be booked by the hour when there is a free window before the next guest.

In the larger flats a family gets separate bedrooms instead of adjoining rooms and a big dining table instead of room service, and the three-bedroom apartments have two bathrooms and sleep up to ten guests. Some complexes have their own parking, provided free of charge. The refundable deposit is returned at check-out if there was no smoking indoors and no damage. Pets cannot be accommodated, and parties are not allowed.
