One night in Almaty between flights, a late landing or an early connection: for stays like these we offer Almaty airport accommodation in the city, not near the airport. Most flats are in the upper part of the city around MEGA Alma-Ata, the compact ones are in the centre near Arbat, and shops and cafés are within walking distance. Around 70% of our guests come from abroad, and messages in any language are fine: we use translation tools when needed. Guests flying in from another country are often met at the apartment: the owner explains the house rules, shows how the door panel works and points out the nearest shops and pharmacies. If you prefer to check in on your own, we send full instructions on the day of arrival. Near one of the buildings a 24-hour Magnum hypermarket is a minute's walk away, handy for water and snacks after a night landing.

A pickup arranged before you fly spares you the search for a car in the arrivals hall, and that matters most when you land late with children and luggage. The team recommends a trusted English-speaking driver who also works as a guide. The driver can meet you at the airport at any time of the day or night, and the car takes seven adults with seven suitcases, enough for a family or a small group. The ride is agreed in advance, so there is nothing to negotiate at the terminal.

Inside, the flat covers what a short stop needs. Every kitchen has an oven, a hob and a microwave, so you can make a simple meal at whatever hour your body clock insists on, and most flats have a washing machine for clothes after a long-haul flight. Bed linen, towels, slippers, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel and a full set of dishes are already waiting.

Check-in is contactless. Before arrival we send you a personal door code, changed after every guest, and it works at any hour, so after a delayed flight you do not need anyone to let you in. The apartment is yours from 14:00, or from 15:00 in the largest flats; arriving earlier is possible only if the flat was free the night before, so tell us your landing time when you book. If something serious happens at night, someone from the team will come to the apartment.

Check-out is by 12:00. When your next flight leaves in the evening, late check-out can be booked by the hour if there is a free window before the next guest. Travelling as a large group?
