Flats and Houses for Rent in Almaty

If you want to rent a flat in Almaty for a family or a group, Brilliant Group runs furnished homes in two parts of the city: the upper part, towards the mountains, and the centre near Arbat. The choice goes from compact one-bedroom flats to three-bedroom apartments. Most of our guests are families and large groups, which is why we moved from small flats to bigger ones over the years. In the upper part most flats have two or three bedrooms and up to ten sleeping places and stand close to large shopping centres, in complexes with guarded courtyards. In the centre the compact one-bedroom flats are set up with extra beds for small families. Around 70% of our guests arrive from abroad, and many come back or recommend us to relatives. Local listings count rooms rather than bedrooms, and the "euro" labels can be confusing. A euro two-room flat is one bedroom plus a kitchen-living room, a euro three-room has two bedrooms and a euro four-room has three. Our largest apartments are 120 to 125 m² with two bathrooms, some with a bath in one and a shower in the other, so up to ten guests are not left queuing in the morning. One of them has air conditioning in every room, bidet showers in both bathrooms and windows onto a quiet courtyard rather than the street.

Comfort depends on beds, not square metres. Extra sleeping places are real beds, already in place rather than brought in on request; one bedroom often has two double beds, so parents can share it with two children. Every kitchen has an oven, a hob and a microwave; most flats also have a washing machine, a smart TV and free Wi-Fi, and the larger ones add a dishwasher and a big dining table.

For a group, a three-bedroom flat in the upper part of the city can cover much of what a house would give. These apartments sit in complexes with closed, guarded courtyards, playgrounds and no cars inside, some with gazebos, so children play outdoors without a private garden. MEGA Alma-Ata is about five minutes on foot from most of our apartments, and a supermarket is in the complex or a minute away. Some complexes have their own parking, which we provide free of charge; where there is none, the team helps find a space nearby. Between guests each flat gets three to four hours of cleaning and a full change of linen from a professional laundry.
